OCV physicians were guests of Dr. Gary Pohling at the Mountain State
Basketball tournament dinner in Beckley, WV. The keynote speaker was
basketball legend Larry Bird. The Raleigh Armory was filled to capacity
with athletes participating in the annual Mountain State Basketball
tournament.
The Mountain State tournament provides lively basketball competition,
featuring a host of outstanding high school athletes. Dr. Gary Pohling,
his wife and his partner, Scott Lostetter, DO were on hand, as always,
lending support to the student athletes. |

Larry Bird signed autographs, and answered questions about his phenomenal
career, encouraging the student athletes to motivate themselves, rather
than relying on coaches or teammates.
Our thanks to Dr. Pohling, Dr. Lostetter for being great hosts, for
their support of athletics in Southern West Virginia, and for their
